Where can I get the Virgin Games App?
On an iPhone or iPad, you can download the Virgin Games App from the iTunes App store. Just search for 'Virgin Games'.
On an Android device you can download it from the Android Google 'Play Store' or directly from the site! Click here or go to the mobile site, click on the menu, then go to 'Download App' and follow the instructions on screen.
Do I need a new account to play on the App?
No, if you’ve already got a Virgin Games account just log in with your username and password. All your details are recorded on our system so you’ll be ready to play!
You will still have your account balance, payment methods, and any bonuses that were on the account last time you played on the website.
Do I need to confirm my location on the App?
Yes, you'll need to allow the App to access your location in order to play on site if you are on an Android device. This is to ensure that you're in the UK when trying to play but you will only need to confirm this once. Rest assured, we would never share this data with any other parties, as it's only used as part of our licensing requirements.
What happens if I don't confirm my location?
You will need to do this in order to access the App and play. If you decline to give your location, you will have to switch your location on by going to your phone settings and then selecting Apps > Virgin Games > Permissions > Location and then toggle this to on.
How is the App updated?
You will get a message on your device saying 'Please Update' to let you know when you need to update the App.
For iOS, you can click on the App Store symbol and then tap 'Updates' to see the Apps that need updating. Select Virgin Games from the list and follow the instructions on screen.
For Android, look out for Update messages or Push Notifications in the App itself and follow the instructions on-screen. Alternatively you can check for updates on your Apps by going to the Play store and selecting the three lines to open the menu and then 'My Apps and Games'. Here it will check if you have any updates available on your downloads.
Can different players use their accounts on the same device?
Yes, you will still need to log in to your account once you load the App. Each player just needs to log in to their own Virgin Games account after they first click on the App icon.
What is the difference between the mobile website and the App?
The content is exactly the same, so you'll have all the same games as on our mobile site through your browser.
However, the App means you can access Virgin Games with just one click, to save you searching through your browser or having to close down other websites.
Do I have to be over 18 to play on the App?
Yes, just like when you play through your web browser, you need to be 18 or over. This is due to UK gambling laws, which apply no matter what device is used to play on.
Are my details saved if I delete the App?
All your account information is stored with us, so deleting the web app will not affect your balance or any of the details. Sometimes, if you're having loading issues it helps to delete the App and re-install it.
